Help clean up the river corridor along the Molonglo and Queanbeyan Rivers this Clean Up Australia Day! Join Molonglo Conservation Group and ACT Parks and Conservation Services for a Molonglo River Clean Up Australia Day event and help protect one of our region’s most important waterways. Spend the afternoon removing litter from the Molonglo River and surrounding riverbanks, helping to keep the area safe for wildlife and enjoyable for the community. PPE, gloves and litter pick-up sticks will be provided, just wear sturdy shoes and sun protection. This is a family-friendly event, and we’ll wrap up with a light afternoon tea to celebrate everyone’s efforts. Please note: the site is not mobility accessible. Come along, lend a hand, and make a real difference for our local river.
