Learn to darn and embroider your woollens. Facilitator Bio: Michele Grimston, a textile artist influenced by textiles as a medium of care and connection. Facilitator has a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) and a Masters in Community Cultural Development. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Canberra, Melbourne and Western Australia and undertaken residencies in Albany WA, Banff Canada, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve ACT and in multiple schools in the ACT and WA. She has presented relational community works for You Are Here Canberra, Rebus Theatre, Tree Street Art Safari and others. In addition to her own creative practice, she has worked in cultural and community development roles for not-for-profit organisations, galleries and local government for over 10 years.
