We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Strumming Fore The Future music event to raise money for junior golf programs under the Tennessee Golf Foundation (501(c)(3)). This years event will take place at the historic 3rd & Lindsley in downtown Nashville on Saturday evening, February 21st. The event will be headlined by country music superstar, Chris Young.Since 1990, the Tennessee Golf Foundation (TGF) has provided accessible and affordable opportunities for all ages, abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds to learn, play and grow in the game of golf. The TGF currently has programming in 65 of the 95 counties in the state, with the goal of eventually offering programming statewide. The TGF focuses on initiatives for juniors, disabled veterans and other special needs individuals. Programming the TGF operates includes, but is not limited to: the Sneds Tour (statewide 2, 100 member junior golf tour), Special Olympics of TN golf events, PGA Hope (program to help disabled veterans learn the game), The First Tee of TN, Tennessee Middle School Golf Association (178 schools involved across the state) and the Scott Stallings Kids Play Free Program (free golf provided to juniors under the age of 18 at select courses across the state). The TGF has impacted 45,767 individuals in 2025 through these programs. The TGF strives to make the game of golf as affordable as possible for everyone regardless of their financial background. In 2025, the TGF has awarded over $185,000 in scholarships between their programs. Our goal is to expand the number of scholarships we are able to offer in 2026 to be able to positively affect more individuals in the community. In order to do so, we are looking to actively fundraise to be able to support these initiatives. We believe the game of golf is full of benefits to all age groups. Like many other sports, it promotes physical wellness, encourages discipline, and cultivates social skills. It is a sport that connects families and can be enjoyed outdoors. Lastly, the game of golf has a rich tradition of etiquette and places a focus on the importance of honesty and integrity. It is for these reasons that we are so passionate about spreading this game and pursuing every opportunity to raise funds to make it accessible for all.
Join us for Pediatric Cancer Night benefiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Doors to the games and will call open 1.5 hours prior to game time. The All-Inclusive Zone is in sections 109-111, rows F & up. The All-Inclusive Zone comes with access to Yuengling FLIGHT Deck. Yuengling FLIGHT Deck includes upscale buffet and select beer and wine.

Vermin Sanctuary's Groundhog Get Down, featuring music by Kevin Scott's Punxsutawney All-Stars, has been postponed. This Tennessee-based nonprofit focuses on wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, aiming to challenge harmful myths about urban critters. Despite the postponement, the event promises a unique experience with live music and an opportunity to support a noble cause.
