This staff-focused session will gather feedback to help shape CSU’s 2026–2030 Accessibility and Inclusion Plan. The workshop will run for 35–40 minutes.
A space for teens and tweens to unwind after school. Join us on Tuesday afternoons to decompress and relax after school. There will be craft, music, and snacks. All materials and snacks will be provided. Children under 12 must be signed in and out by an adult. Allergy information should be disclosed to support attendees.
Stories, songs and actions for 1 and 2 year olds
Storytime for babies 0-18 months. Rhyme Time is an exciting program designed to enhance language development, develop pre-literacy skills, stimulate imagination, and make reading with your child a part of your everyday routine. We use nursery rhymes, action songs, finger plays, and stories in a fun and interactive way. We also share tips with parents on how to include these in their routines at home.
Join us on Monday afternoons during school terms to build Lego. We have bricks for freebuilding, sets, games and challenges you may choose to participate in and builds may be displayed in the library afterwards. No experience necessary, and all LEGO will be provided.
We sing songs, read stories and make craft in the Storytime area. Storytime at Orange City Library is lots of fun. We read stories, sing songs, play games and make craft. Storytime is held during the school term for preschool-aged children and their carers. The story reader begins promptly at 11 am. Please be early and have your child settled for the stories to begin. Storytime is designed for children who are 3-5 years old.
Stories, songs and actions for 1 and 2 year olds in 1, 2 BOOKS! we read books, sing and play to encourage engagement with language and literacy. 1, 2 BOOKS! builds upon the skills introduced during the Rhyme Time workshops, focusing on toddlers, aged 1 and 2 years. We use nursery rhymes, action songs, finger plays and stories in a fun and interactive way. Sessions are lively and stimulating for both children and adults.
The University of Newcastle will be hosting an information session for parents and carers of prospective students from the Orange region. We are in Orange supporting parents and carers of year senior school students. If you have a child who is currently completing senior studies, come visit us for our FREE Parents and Carers Info Session. Come and chat anytime between 5:30pm - 7:00pm, the presentation will commence at 6pm. Parents and Carers will have the opportunity to hear from University staff and current students, with a presentation touching on areas such as: Our different entry schemes, such as the Early Entry Program, Schools Recommendation Scheme and Year 12 Subject Spotlight Our campus locations, guaranteed accommodation, scholarships and more Student experience and support services available Following this, there will be an opportunity for Q&A's if you had any specific inquiries.
