Isobel Knight is a storytelling songwriter with a folk-y rock-y bent. Her new EP “Off The Floor” was made live with her trio at Kasey Chambers and Dingo’s beautiful studio in the central coast. Their first single “Lost Dog” is out March 28 and catches the bluesy harmonies and melodic interweaving that the EP is full of. This one off live show at Goulburn Cathedral will be a night of warmth and beauty, with songs from local songwriters Lily Morris and Jimmy McGrath opening the night, and special arrangements for the resonance of such a big and beautiful room. We are a dynamic singing band, celebrating diversity and community, and expressing the power of music to uplift and unite. Our ever-growing repertoire, collected over four decades, is formed from travels and collaborations, as well as from our own experiences. Our music features intricate arrangements and powerful story-telling. We have toured in Australia, Indonesia and Cuba. Recently we collaborated with Kandos artist Gabrielle Bates on the creative project, Building Song, exploring conceptual relationships between sound and space, architecture and people through time. At the heart of our group, direction is respectfully collective.
